Gosforth Farmers Market 2026: Dates, Location, and What to Expect
The Gosforth Farmers Market at All Saints Church runs monthly with local producers, live music, and children's activities. Here are the dates and nearby markets too.
The Gosforth Farmers Market is one of the regular highlights of the community calendar — a monthly gathering of local food producers at All Saints Church on Church Road. If you haven't been, or you're new to the area, here's what to know.
What is it?
The market typically features around 16 stalls of food from local and regional producers — think artisan bread, cheese, meat, preserves, cakes, vegetables, and seasonal specialities. Many of the same stallholders return each month, so you'll quickly get to know your favourites. There's often live music, activities for children, and a recycled items stall supporting church funds.
It's a genuine community event rather than a large-scale commercial market. The setting in the grounds of the Grade I listed All Saints Church — founded in the 1170s — adds real atmosphere.
Where and when?
The market runs on selected Saturdays from 10am at All Saints Church, Church Road, Gosforth, NE3 4. Dates vary — check the All Saints Gosforth website or their Facebook page for confirmed upcoming dates.
The next confirmed date is Saturday 16 May (from our events calendar).
Parking is available on nearby streets — see our parking guide for the best options. The market is a short walk from both the High Street and Regent Centre Metro.
What to bring
Cash is useful for smaller stalls, though many now take card payments. Bring your own bags — most stallholders appreciate it. Dogs are welcome but keep them on a lead in the churchyard. And arrive early for the best selection, particularly of bread.
