About Carruthers & Kent

Carruthers & Kent is an independent enoteca, bottle shop and deli just off Gosforth High Street on Elmfield Road, run by Claire Carruthers and Mo O'Toole. It stocks more than 500 artisan wines to take home or drink in, with a monthly-changing selection of sixteen wines by the glass and tasting flights served with olives. A deli counter offers cheese and charcuterie boards sourced from artisan producers, along with items such as sausage rolls and pâtés. The shop doubles as a relaxed tasting room and events space, hosting wine tastings, winemaker evenings, talks and other events for both newcomers and experienced wine lovers.
