About Gosforth Central

Gosforth Central is the shopping centre on Gosforth High Street, previously known as Gosforth Shopping Centre. Alongside larger tenants such as Sainsbury's, Boots, Argos and Costa Coffee, it houses a growing mix of independent traders, including a greengrocer, a sweet shop, a butcher and a card and gift shop.

The centre supports the Gosforth Community Foundation, a registered charity set up to improve Gosforth Central Park and local community facilities. Its fundraising events, such as outdoor cinema and theatre in the park, have helped pay for repairs in the park and for the planned refurbishment of the Central Park play area.
