Sohe

Pan-Asian sharing plates, cocktails, and private dining on Osborne Road. Stylish decor and vibrant atmosphere for date nights and celebrations.

About Sohe

Sohe at 97-103 Osborne Road in Jesmond is a Pan-Asian restaurant drawing influences from Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, and Korea to create a menu built around sharing plates, bold flavours, and beautifully presented cocktails. The striking interior features sparkling chandeliers made from hanging lightbulbs, mahogany tables, plush booths, chevron flooring, exposed brickwork, and plenty of leafy plants lending an oriental ambience, which partly explains its enduring popularity on social media. The sharing-plates format encourages exploration, from delicate sushi and tempura to rich curries and sizzling stir-fries, designed for two or more diners to order several plates across the table. The bottomless brunch, on Fridays and Saturdays 12-5pm and Sundays 12-6pm, has become one of Jesmond's most popular weekend rituals, offering unlimited drinks with sharer starters and a main. The kitchen opens at 5pm Monday to Thursday and from noon at weekends, an easy Metro hop or ten-minute drive from Gosforth.
