About The Victory
The Victory is a small, welcoming local pub at 43 Killingworth Road in South Gosforth, known for a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. There has been a pub on the site since the 19th century, taking its name from Nelson's flagship and once serving the local mining community. Essentially a single room, it has lounge seating on both sides of the entrance. Homemade food is prepared fresh to order and served through the day, alongside a good selection of drinks, making it a comfortable spot for a casual meal or a quiet pint. The pub is dog-friendly, offers free off-street parking, and hosts a weekly quiz and regular acoustic music.
