Trillians Rock Bar on Princess Square is one of Newcastle's longest-running independent bars, known primarily as a rock and metal venue but with a broad programme of live music. Every Wednesday the bar hosts an acoustic open mic night, free to attend, where performers of all styles can sign up on the night. The rest of the week features DJ sets, club nights, and live bands.
