About This Event

The Anastasia File is a compelling drama that explores one of the twentieth century's most enduring mysteries. In 1920, a young woman was pulled from a Berlin canal. She claimed to be Grand Duchess Anastasia, the last surviving heir to the Romanov dynasty. Was she telling the truth — or was she the most audacious imposter in history? Starring Jenny Seagrove and directed by Roy Marsden, the production traces thirty years of investigation into the identity of Anne Manahan, weaving together memory, fact, and fiction in a gripping theatrical puzzle. The ensemble cast includes Simon Shepherd, Ashley D. Gayle, and Rosie Thomson. Running Tuesday to Saturday with matinees on Thursday (2pm) and Saturday (2:30pm). Duration approximately 2 hours 10 minutes including interval. The Saturday 2:30pm performance offers audio description, captions, and a pre-show touch tour.
