About This Event
The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) comes to Northern Stage, all 37 of Shakespeare's plays performed by just three actors in a single fast, furious and absurdly funny show. Written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield, the production first took the Edinburgh Fringe by storm before running for nine years in London's West End and performing in over 20 countries. This 2026 touring production has been fully updated and reimagined by original co-creator Adam Long. The cast sprint through every tragedy, comedy and history at breakneck speed. No knowledge of Shakespeare is required, just a willingness to laugh until it hurts.
