Hardwick Hall Hotel runs its fireworks in the grounds at Sedgefield, and in 2026 it is putting the event on twice — once on Bonfire Night itself and again on the Saturday. This is the Thursday night.\n\nGates open at 5pm and the evening finishes around 8.30pm. At seven pounds for anyone aged six and over it is one of the better-value ticketed displays in County Durham, and under-fives go free, though the hotel asks you to add a free child ticket to the basket so it can manage numbers. There are VIP tables for six if you want a base for the night.\n\nThe thing to get right is parking. It is a separate advance-only ticket for the Hardwick Park car park at three pounds fifty a car, and none are sold on the night, so book it with your entry tickets rather than turning up and hoping.
