About This Event

NHSN naturalist Matthew Harrison leads a search of the reedbeds and pond margins for the water ladybird and other damp-habitat species, with the nearby gorse likely to turn up 7-spot, harlequin and possibly pine ladybirds. Sightings feed into the society's North East Ladybird Spot survey. It suits all ages and experience levels, sweep nets are provided, and the flat one to two mile route starts and finishes at the reserve gate. Book through Eventbrite.
