Seaham Fireworks
A free fireworks night on the Durham coast, fired over the seafront and marina with Terrace Green as the gathering point.
About This Event
Seaham Town Council puts on a free fireworks evening along the seafront, and the coastal setting does a lot of the work — the fireworks go up over the marina with the North Sea behind them. The event runs from 5pm to 9pm with the display itself at 6.30pm.\n\nIt is free to attend and there is no ticketing. People spread out between Terrace Green, the seafront and the area around the marina, so there is more room than the crowd numbers suggest.\n\nIn recent years the council has operated a residents-only wristband area in part of the site, though that has not been confirmed for 2026. If you are coming in from outside Seaham it is worth checking the council's page nearer the time.
