Skiffle Session and Uke Club at Beamish
Live skiffle from Hop, Skiffle and Jump followed by a ukulele club session in the 1950s Welfare Hall.
About This Event
Skiffle band Hop, Skiffle and Jump play in the 1950s Town Welfare Hall from 12 noon to 1pm, celebrating the do-it-yourself music that gave young people the chance to make their own sound on cheap acoustic instruments. The Uke Club follows from 1:15pm to 2pm; bring your own ukulele if you can, though the museum has one or two to lend. Free with a Beamish Unlimited Pass.
