Free half-term Newcastle City Guides walk on the life of Admiral Cuthbert Collingwood, ending at Discovery Museum to see the Trafalgar Flag.
About This Event
Newcastle City Guides lead a free walking tour exploring the life of Cuthbert Collingwood, the Newcastle-born admiral who took command at the Battle of Trafalgar after Nelson's death. The walk starts outside the Bridge Hotel and finishes at Discovery Museum, where walkers can see the Trafalgar Flag from his ship Royal Sovereign. Tickets go on sale at 9am on 9 October; advance online booking is required (no walk-ups).
