Tynemouth Market is a vibrant weekend market held under the beautiful Victorian glass and iron canopy of Tynemouth Metro station. Every Saturday and Sunday, the station fills with over 150 stalls selling everything from handmade jewellery and vintage clothing to artisan food, plants, and local art. The market has become a destination in its own right, people travel from across the region to browse the stalls, grab street food, and soak up the atmosphere. The station's stunning architecture makes it a wonderful setting whatever the weather. After the market, take a walk along the pier to the Priory, explore the King Edward's Bay beach, or head to Front Street for fish and chips.
