Pizza Dough Co

Pizza Dough Co at the Three Mile on Great North Road is the newest and boldest option — New York-style pizza with 12-inch artisan bases fired at 400 degrees. The dough is double-fermented for 20 hours before toppings are added fresh, then cooked in a wood-fired oven. The result is a charred crust with proper chew and bold flavours.

The menu goes beyond the classics — think Korean spiced beef, 'nduja and burrata, and even sweet pizzas (Nutella with fresh raspberry, or fudge toffee with marshmallows). The Feed the Family deal — two regular pizzas, two kids' pizzas, and four soft drinks for £25 (Monday–Thursday from 4pm) — is outstanding value. Kids eat for £1 during school holidays.
