Birthday Party Venues in Gosforth

Hopscotch Play Cafe

Hopscotch on Gosforth High Street is a dedicated soft play cafe for under-6s. Party packages include exclusive 2-hour hire from £250 plus food per child (Afternoon Tea £7.50 or Pizza Sharing Board £8.50). Minimum 12 children. Saturdays at 1:30pm or 4pm; Sundays at 10am, 12:30pm, or 3pm. Sound system with Spotify, backdrop for photos. Book via events@hopscotchcafe.com with a £75 deposit.

Captain Ted's

Captain Ted's in the old church hall on West Avenue offers pirate-themed party packages. The "Takeover Ted's" package includes a children's sandwich buffet, face painting or glitter tattoos, and party games. Add-ons include party bags (£2/child) and Mark Toney ice cream (£1.50/child). Pizza Dough Co — Pizza & Play

Pizza Dough Co at the Three Mile offers a Pizza & Play package for £15 per child (minimum 5, maximum 20). Children make their own pizza, get all-you-can-drink squash, and spend an hour in The Playhouse — a soft play and sensory area with a Netflix corner. For children up to about 8 years. Gosforth Leisure Centre

Gosforth Leisure Centre on Regent Farm Road offers the widest range of activity parties: swimming pool (1 hour pool + 1 hour activity room, floats included, up to 30 people), sports hall sessions, climbing wall, trampolining, and ten-pin bowling. Canny Crafty — Pottery Painting

Canny Crafty at 147-149 Salters Road offers pottery painting parties — children choose an item, paint it, and it's fired and ready to collect later. In-studio capacity 12-34 guests. Football Parties

Trampolining

Tips

Book early. Saturday afternoon slots at Hopscotch and the leisure centre fill up weeks in advance.

Check dietary requirements. Most venues can accommodate allergies but need advance notice.

Party bags. Several venues offer add-on party bags — usually cheaper and less hassle than sourcing your own.
