About Axis Fitness
Axis Fitness in High Gosforth Park is a family-run independent gym that has been helping people get fit for 18 years, offering a genuine alternative to the big impersonal chains. It is Gosforth's only fully equipped Nautilus and free weight gym, with a full range of Nautilus resistance machines, dumbbells up to 50kg, squat racks, Smith machines, cable machines, a comprehensive cardio section, a boxing area, a functional training zone, and a 3,000 square foot outdoor training area. This is a gym where the staff know your name, with an emphasis on personalised training and rehabilitation programmes in a relaxed, friendly environment where all shapes, sizes, and fitness levels are welcome. Open seven days a week with no peak or off-peak, memberships start from £27.99 a month. Based within the Goals Soccer Centre with plenty of free on-site parking.
