About Coxlodge and Gosforth Club
The Coxlodge and Gosforth Club on Jubilee Road is a members' social club that has become best known for its Wednesday open mic night, which bills itself as the most popular in the region. From around 6pm each Wednesday, the club welcomes a mix of professional musicians and keen amateurs for a relaxed evening of live performance with a resident band and guest spots. Entry is just 50p. The club also hosts regular live entertainment, comedy nights, and community events throughout the week.
