David Lloyd Newcastle is a health and racquets club on Castle Farm Road in South Gosforth, on the edge of Jesmond Dene. It has an indoor swimming pool and a heated outdoor pool with a separate children's pool and terrace, indoor tennis courts with coaching for adults and juniors, and a gym with cardio machines, free weights and TRX stations. Members can choose from hundreds of group exercise classes each week, including yoga, Pilates, HIIT and signature studio sessions, and there are spa facilities with sauna, steam room and whirlpool. Family provision includes a crèche, DL Kids Club and family swim times, plus a clubroom café and free parking.
