About Gosforth Skatepark (Christon Road)

Gosforth Skatepark is a small, free outdoor skatepark in Christon Park (Christon Field) off Christon Road. It is built from metal ramps set on a tarmac surface, laid out as a back-and-forth run around a central jumpbox with quarter pipes and banks on either side, plus a flatbar. The compact scale and modest features make it well suited to beginners and younger skaters, scooter riders and BMXers learning the basics. It is a public council facility with open access and no admission charge, and sits within easy reach of the surrounding Gosforth residential streets.
