About Kumon Gosforth
Kumon Gosforth is a maths and English study centre for children aged three to sixteen, located in the Parish Centre behind St Charles Parish Church on Church Road. The centre follows the Kumon self-learning method, combining in-centre classes with daily home study, and sessions can be attended in person or online through Kumon Connect. Classes run on Monday afternoons and Saturday mornings, with each subject taking around thirty minutes. Over 120 students attend, nearly half of them studying at advanced levels. The centre is Ofsted registered, accepts childcare vouchers, and offers free parking, disabled access and public transport links via the Metro. It is led by instructor Alex Addis and a team of assistants.
