About Matt Fiddes Martial Arts
Martial arts classes for ages 3 and up at St Aidan's Community Centre in Gosforth, building confidence, discipline, fitness and self-defence skills in a fun, unpressurised environment. The Matt Fiddes system focuses on improving confidence, discipline and fitness while promoting self-defence, rather than competition or aggression, giving children the tools to feel capable and self-assured. Sessions cater for children from age 3 upwards as well as adults and families, with a structured curriculum that lets students progress at their own pace towards clear milestones and achievements. A free trial lesson is available with no obligation and no charge, and all you need is loose, comfortable sports clothing such as a tracksuit; specialist martial arts kit is not needed unless you choose to join.
