Puddle Ducks runs baby and pre-school swimming classes at the pool inside the Grand Hotel at High Gosforth Park. Sessions cater for children from birth to around four years and are grouped by age and stage, from Floaties and Splashers for the youngest babies through to Kickers and Little Dippers for toddlers and pre-schoolers. Parents take part in the water alongside their children, with the focus on building water confidence in a warm, shallow teaching pool kept at around 29 to 30 degrees.
