About Sports Club Newcastle
Sports Club Newcastle runs structured gymnastics and cheerleading classes at the Royal Grammar School on Eskdale Terrace in Jesmond, with excellent facilities easily accessible from Gosforth. The programme is overseen by Roddy, an ex-international gymnast and high-performance coach who is also a member of the school's PE staff, with British Gymnastics-trained coaches mentoring children in a happy, engaging setting. Gymnastics classes cater for all levels, from beginners to advanced, covering floor skills, tumbling on the airtrack, vaulting, trampoline, floor beam and trampette. Cheerleading classes are designed for beginners and intermediates aged 5 to 15, with a fun, child-centred approach that nurtures children of all abilities without requiring prior experience.
