The Cluny
Iconic independent live music venue in Ouseburn with two stages. Gigs, drag nights, folk, indie, blues, and a bar with food. Capacity 300 (Cluny) / 180 (Cluny 2).
About The Cluny
The Cluny is an independent live music venue, pub and café in the Ouseburn Valley, housed in a former flax spinning mill designed by John Dobson and built in 1848, now a Grade II-listed building. The main room holds around 300 people and is one of the region's most important venues for breaking bands, with a sister venue, Cluny 2, hosting smaller shows nearby on Lime Street. The bar is known for its wide selection of real ales and world lagers, and food is served through the Cluny Kitchen. A fixture of the North East music scene for over two decades, it sits at the heart of Ouseburn's cultural quarter.
