Tremolo Lounge opened in Spring 2025 in the former Woolworths building — a prime High Street spot that had been vacant for years. Part of the national Loungers chain (250+ sites), it operates as an informal, neighbourhood cafe bar serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks throughout the day. The interior is characterful and relaxed, dog-friendly throughout, with dedicated vegan and gluten-free menus. Named after a guitar technique — a nod to Mark Knopfler's Gosforth connection.
