About This Event

Inside Cragside House, A Journey Through Fairyland is an interactive story in which William Armstrong dreams his way into a magical world and has to find his way home by Christmas (11am to 5pm, last entry 4pm). Outside, a living Giant Redwood around 44.7 metres tall is lit with more than 1,300 lights as the world's tallest bedded Christmas tree. There is also a waymarked festive five-mile walk from the Crozier car park, which takes up to three hours, and an Escape from Fairyland trail in the Formal Garden for children. Closed 24 to 26 December; National Trust members go free and parking is included with entry.
