Drawn to Nature with Ali Edwards
A full-day nature sketching workshop on the Hepple Estate led by Northumberland illustrator Ali Edwards, for beginners and experienced artists alike.
About This Event
The day starts indoors with techniques, then heads out on a guided sketching walk around the estate, followed by lunch and a longer outdoor session, finishing with a sharing of sketchbooks. The emphasis is on drawing as a way of really looking at the natural world rather than on artistic skill. Ali Edwards is a certified Green Sketching Ambassador. All materials and lunch are included, groups are capped at around 15, and booking is essential. Bring sturdy footwear and layers, as the ground can be uneven and boggy.
