GCT Beer Festival 2026

About This Event

A three-day celebration of craft beer, real ale, and live music at Gosforth Civic Theatre, running Friday 31 July (4pm-11pm), Saturday 1 August (noon-10pm) and Sunday 2 August (noon-6pm). The festival features an impressive 30-tap bar with a curated selection of regional and national beers — pale ales, IPAs, stouts, and Belgian saisons — plus a low- and no-alcohol bar and a dedicated spirits and wine bar. Live music kicks off on the Friday evening with Jamagotchi, a 90s pop-dance-indie tribute act. Entry is £5 for over-18s, with free entry for children and dogs — making it genuinely family-friendly. A weekend wristband option is available. Every purchase directly supports the theatre's work with people with learning disabilities. Street food on site.
