About This Event

Throughout the summer holidays, Beamish invites families to pick up one of six themed trails and experience the museum through the eyes of people from the past. Expect hands-on workshops, mining demonstrations and a 1950s NHS teddy bear clinic among the daily activities. Beamish is a vast open-air museum spread across Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian and 1950s areas, with costumed staff, working trams and plenty of walking — allow a full day. The Summer of Fun activities are included with normal admission and run daily from 18 July to 31 August.
