Live Theatre's riverside garden fills with music, stories and craft for this free celebration of Live Tales' tenth birthday. Families can drop in for storytelling sessions, live illustration workshops and story-making with costumes, props and puppets, alongside free face painting, pop-up stalls and a food and drink stand. Workshops are free but booking is essential for children, with parents and carers going along free of charge. It is a relaxed, all-ages morning-into-afternoon in the heart of Newcastle's Quayside, ideal for younger children who love a tale.
