About PureKnead
PureKnead is an artisan bakery in Gosforth Central Shopping Centre, the third branch of a North East bakery that also has shops on Dean Street in Newcastle and Park View in Whitley Bay. Its speciality is sourdough made using traditional techniques over 48 hours with only flour, water and salt, with no additives or improvers. Alongside the breads, the counter offers a wide range of pastries, cakes, slices and savoury items such as sausage rolls and croissants, plus in-house biscuits and granola, and coffee from Assembly roasters. Bespoke celebration and wedding cakes can be ordered. The Gosforth shop opens Tuesday to Sunday from 8.30am.
