About SwimTech Swim School
SwimTech Swim School has been teaching swimming across Newcastle and North Tyneside for over 30 years, having operated since 1995. It is accredited by Swim England and follows the Learn to Swim national programme, offering a structured but non-competitive and inclusive approach. Lessons are available in small-group, one-to-one and one-to-two formats for children, including SEND support, as well as for adult beginners and improvers, with 30-minute sessions booked in blocks. The school teaches from its own private pool at Greenfields Community Primary School in Wideopen, plus Benfield Sports Centre. All instructors hold Level 2 teaching qualifications, enhanced DBS checks, first aid and safeguarding training, and get into the water to support learners.
