Daft as a Brush Cancer Patient Care
A Gosforth-based charity providing free transport for cancer patients to and from hospital for chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment. Over 350 volunteers operate a fleet of 33 ambulances, completing around 100,000 patient journeys a year. Winner of The Queen's Award for Voluntary Services.
