Gosforth Residents Association (registered charity 1043575) runs a community hall on Christon Road in the heart of Gosforth, promoting the benefit of local inhabitants by providing facilities for social welfare, recreation and leisure. The hall hosts a varied weekly timetable — yoga and sitting yoga, carpet bowls, the Craft & Knit 2gether group, the Ad Vintage wine group, musical baby sessions and community bingo — and is available for private hire from 8am to 9pm daily for parties and one-off events. It is one of Gosforth’s long-standing community spaces.
