About The Owl Tree Children's Cafe
The Owl Tree Children's Cafe is a community play cafe for young children, based in the former Coxlodge Methodist Church on Kenton Road in Gosforth. It offers an affordable, welcoming space where each week brings a different theme for small-world play, role play, sensory play, crafts and songs, with the main play area suited to children from birth to around five years. The cafe runs dedicated SEN sessions every other Friday, giving families access to a larger hall with soft play and a sensory room. Set up as a community project, it aims to support parents and help combat the social isolation many families face.
