The Parlour at Blagdon is a countryside wedding and events venue at Blagdon Smithy on the Old Great North Road, Seaton Burn, roughly ten minutes north of Newcastle. The venue offers exclusive use, so a single celebration has the space to itself. Ceremonies can take place either in the Grade II listed smithy building or in an outdoor courtyard setting. Daytime receptions accommodate up to 90 guests, rising to 175 for evening celebrations, with dedicated areas for drinks and canapes and for dining. On-site bedrooms are available, and the venue's culinary team provides curated menus including traditional three-course meals and Mediterranean-inspired options. It also hosts private occasions, corporate events and celebrations of life.
