About West Gosforth Scout Group

West Gosforth Scout Group is the largest Scout group in Newcastle, based at its own hall on Brookvale Avenue. It runs two Beaver colonies, two Cub packs and two Scout troops, giving young people across west Gosforth and Kenton a full programme of adventurous activities — camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing — alongside the skills-for-life ethos of the Scout movement. The group is volunteer-led, and its hall is also available for community bookings.
