About Trinity Church and Centre Gosforth
Trinity Church was formed in 2000 by the uniting of three congregations — Methodist and United Reformed — and occupies a handsome building originally constructed as a Methodist church in 1877, designed by Septimus Oswald and Son. Sunday worship is at 10:30am, with a Young Church for children and teenagers, and Communion on the third Sunday of each month. The church also hosts an active Farsi-language worship service. The Trinity Centre and Cafe is a well-known community hub on the High Street, offering rooms for hire, clubs, groups, and a welcoming cafe open to all.
